Examples

Since 2018, Helix has offered programming to thousands of students and hundreds of educators across the United States. Our curriculum is made by educators for educators and is lab tested on the ground through Helix Education in Chicago. Take a look at a few examples of our work below.

Wahluke School District

Helix has worked with thousands of K-8 students and dozens of educators to create impactful after school and summer programs for the Wahluke District 21st Century program. Helix created custom learning experiences that covered a wide range of topics. All of our lessons were created in partnership with educators on the ground and included ongoing professional development and support.

Sullivan High School

Helix created career exploration programs for Sullivan High School students that have been deployed in the classroom, after school, and as a stand alone summer program. Helix has also partnered to support the counseling team to develop pathways for student success during and after high school.

Grandview School District

Helix created multiple programs for Grandview School District focused on soft skill development. The programs were built into the summer school program and Helix provided professional development and ongoing support to the various educators leading the programs.

Chicago Ideas Incubator

Helix created a city wide high school after school program that it hosted from 2019 to 2023. The incubator gives students from across Chicago the chance to explore their community, investigate unmet neighborhood needs, and develop real-world solutions to those problems. In the process, students develop college and career skills and hone their social and emotional intelligence.
